To calibrate the Benechef Battery Digital Scale, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the scale is placed on a solid, level surface.
2. Replace or reinstall the batteries if the scale displays "OL" or "Err." Turn on the scale and wait until "0.0" is displayed before calibrating.
3. Find a known weight, such as a U.S. coin that weighs exactly 5 grams. Make sure the coin is as recent as possible.
4. Place the known weight on the scale after ensuring it reads "0" and turning the scale on.
5. If the scale accurately measures the known weight (5 grams in this case), then it is calibrated and ready to use. Congratulations!
6. If the scale does not accurately measure the known weight, you may need to consult the manual for further troubleshooting steps or contact Benechef customer support for assistance.
