To pair the Retevis RB85 Radios Walkie Talkies for communication, follow these steps:
1. Turn on both radios by pressing and holding the power button until they power on.
2. Ensure that both radios are set to the same channel. Use the channel selector xxxx or buttons to adjust the channel number.
3. Set the same CTCSS/DCS code on both radios if you want to use privacy codes. This will prevent interference from other radios on the same channel.
4. Adjust the volume level to a comfortable level using the volume control xxxx or buttons.
5. Hold down the PTT (Push-to-Talk) button on one radio while speaking into the built-in microphone.
6. Release the PTT button to listen for a response from the other radio.
7. The radios are now paired and ready for communication. Repeat steps 5 and 6 as needed.
