To pair or connect the Midland LXT600BBX4 FRS Business Bundle radios, follow these steps:
1. Turn on both radios by rotating the Power/Volume xxxx clockwise.
2. Set both radios to the same channel by pressing the Channel Up or Down buttons until the desired channel number is displayed on the screen. The radios must be on the same channel to communicate with each other.
3. Adjust the volume level by rotating the Power/Volume xxxx clockwise or counterclockwise.
4. To communicate, press and hold the PTT (Push-To-Talk) button on the side of the radio while speaking into the microphone. Release the PTT button to listen.
5. If you want to use the radios hands-free, you can activate the VOX (Voice-Activated Transmit) feature. Press the Menu button, then use the Channel Up or Down buttons to navigate to the VOX setting. Press the Menu button again to enter the VOX menu. Use the Channel Up or Down buttons to select the desired VOX sensitivity level. Press the Menu button to confirm the selection.
6. To use the radios with a headset or earpiece, plug the headset/earpiece into the accessory jack located on the side of the radio. The built-in microphone will be disabled when a headset/earpiece is connected.
7. The Midland LXT600BBX4 FRS Business Bundle radios also have a Call Alert feature that allows you to send a call tone to the other radio(s) in your group. To send a call alert, press the Call button. The other radio(s) will emit a call tone.
