To set up the Pro-Ject T1 Walnut Turntable, follow these steps:
1. Unbox the turntable and remove all packaging materials.
2. Place the turntable on a stable and level surface.
3. Attach the dust cover to the hinges on the back of the turntable.
4. Connect the included Connect-It E High Quality Audio Cable to the turntable's RCA output jacks.
5. Connect the other end of the audio cable to your amplifier or receiver's phono input.
6. If your amplifier or receiver does not have a phono input, you will need to connect an external phono preamp between the turntable and your audio system.
7. Ensure that the power switch on the turntable is in the off position.
8. Plug the power cord into a power outlet.
9. Set the voltage selector switch on the turntable to match your local voltage (230V for Europe, 110V for the US).
10. Turn on your amplifier or receiver and set it to the appropriate input for the turntable.
11. Turn on the power switch on the turntable.
12. Lift the tonearm and carefully move it over to the desired position on the record.
13. Gently lower the tonearm onto the record, allowing the stylus to make contact.
14. Enjoy your music!
