To connect speakers to the JBL Professional CSA 1300Z Power Amplifier, follow these steps:
1. Determine the type of speakers you have: low impedance or high impedance (70V or 100V).
2. For low impedance speakers (4 ohms or 8 ohms), use the +/- pins of the amplifier output connector. Connect the positive (+) terminal of the speaker to the corresponding positive (+) pin on the amplifier output connector. Connect the negative (-) terminal of the speaker to the corresponding negative (-) pin on the amplifier output connector.
3. For high impedance speakers (70V or 100V), use the appropriate pin on the amplifier output connector. Connect the positive (+) terminal of the speaker to the corresponding pin for the desired impedance (70V or 100V) on the amplifier output connector. Connect the negative (-) terminal of the speaker to the COM pin on the amplifier output connector.
4. Use high-quality, two-conductor speaker wire to connect the speakers to the amplifier. Strip back the wires no greater than 6 mm (1/4 inch) and twist the wires for better conductivity.
5. Ensure that the Hi-Z switch on the back panel of the amplifier is in the ON position if you are using high impedance speakers.
6. Repeat the above steps for each speaker you want to connect to the amplifier.
Note: It is important to maintain the proper polarity when wiring the speakers. Check the speaker documentation or markings to ensure correct polarity.
