The range of the SAMCOM FPCN30A Two-Way Radios can vary depending on the terrain and environment. In open flat terrain, the range can be between 3-8 miles. In urban areas or outside buildings, the range is typically around 0.5-1 mile. If you are using the radios inside a cinder block 2-story building, the range may be limited and could be affected by the walls. To extend the range, it is recommended to use a repeater or consider using a longer antenna, which can be obtained from the manufacturer.
