To charge the battery for the Retevis RT21 Walkie Talkie Speaker Mic, please follow these steps:
1. Power off the radio before charging the battery.
2. Insert the AC adaptor plug into the AC power output socket.
3. Insert the battery or the radio with the battery vertically into the charger, ensuring that the battery and charger terminals are in normal contact.
4. Once the battery and charger terminals are in good contact, the charging indicator light will turn red, indicating that the charging process has started.
5. Before inserting the battery, check if the charging indicator blinks. If it does, it is abnormal and you should not proceed with charging.
6. Wait until the charging indicator is stable before changing the battery for charging.
7. If the charging indicator blinks after 30 minutes of trickling charge, it means that the battery or the charger may be damaged.
8. Do not unplug the power or battery while it is being charged.
9. The battery should be charged between temperatures of 0°C and 45°C. Charging the battery beyond this temperature range may not fully charge it.
10. Do not charge the battery or change it in flammable or explosive areas.
11. Do not charge the battery or radio if they are wet. Dry them with a cloth before charging to avoid any danger.
