To find the best stimulation level for your pet using the Bousnic p-collar 356 Shock Collar with Remote, follow these steps:
1. Start with the vibration mode first: It is recommended to begin with the vibration mode before using the static shock mode. This allows you to gauge your pet's response without using the stronger stimulation.
2. Begin at the lowest level of stimulation: Start with the lowest stimulation level on the Remote Display. Press and hold the Vibration or Shock Stimulation Button continuously (referred to as the [S] button).
3. Observe your pet's reaction: Watch your pet closely for any reaction to the stimulation. Look for slight changes in behavior, such as looking around in curiosity, scratching at the collar, or flicking the ears. These behaviors indicate the Recognition Level that is best for your pet.
4. Gradually increase the stimulation level: If your pet shows no reaction at the current stimulation level, repeat the stimulation several times before moving up to the next level. Increase the stimulation level gradually until your pet reliably responds to the stimulation.
5. Watch for signs of discomfort: It's important to ensure that the stimulation level is not too high for your pet. If your pet barks or panics when receiving the stimulation, it indicates that the level is too high. In such cases, go back to the previous level and repeat the process.
6. Adjust for long or thick fur: If your pet has long or thick fur, it may affect the effectiveness of the stimulation. In such cases, use the longer set of Contact Points provided with the collar. If your pet still shows no response, consider trimming the hair around the Contact Points.
Remember, it's crucial to find the right balance between effective stimulation and your pet's comfort. Start with the lowest level and gradually increase it until you find the Recognition Level that works best for your pet. Always monitor your pet's response and adjust as needed.
