To adjust the recording level on the Tascam DR-10L Portable Digital Audio Recorder, follow these steps:
1. Press the MENU button to enter the menu mode.
2. Use the UP or DOWN button to navigate to the "REC LEVEL" option and press the MENU button to select it.
3. The current recording level will be displayed on the screen. Use the UP or DOWN button to adjust the level.
4. Press the MENU button to confirm the selected recording level.
Note: The recording level can be adjusted from -12 dB to +36 dB in 3 dB increments. It is recommended to set the recording level so that the peak indicator does not light up during normal recording.
