Fitting the collar properly on your dog is crucial for effective and safe training sessions. Here are the instructions on how to fit the INVIROX 2022 Dog Training Collar:
1. Place your dog's neck where the receiver collar will be positioned.
2. Center the contact points so that they touch the skin just below your dog's neck.
3. The receiver collar should be snug but not too loose that one finger cannot fit between the strap and the neck of your pet.
4. If your dog has long fur, you may need to clip the fur in the contact region to ensure consistent contact with the skin. Longer metal contact points are provided in the INVIROX training package for this purpose. However, shaving the dog's neck may increase the risk of skin irritation.
5. Note that shock mode should only be used in emergency scenarios. For regular routine, beep and vibration modes are recommended.
