To pair your smartphone with the Garmin Approach S40 smartwatch, follow these steps:
1. Install the Garmin Golf app on your smartphone from the app store.
2. Turn on your Garmin Approach S40 smartwatch by pressing the button.
3. On the smartwatch, tap the touchscreen to select your preferred language and answer any prompts.
4. Charge the smartwatch completely using the included USB cable.
5. On your smartphone, open the Garmin Golf app.
6. On the smartwatch, press and hold the button to view the main menu.
7. Select "Pair Phone" on the smartwatch.
8. In the Garmin Golf app, go to the menu and select "Garmin Devices" or similar.
9. Follow the on-screen instructions in the app to complete the pairing process.
Once your smartphone is paired with the Garmin Approach S40 smartwatch, you will have access to features such as scorecard syncing, current weather data, and more.
