Ceiling speakers should be installed at least 18 inches away from the wall, and as far apart as you would have speakers on a conventional sound system. As a rule of thumb, they should be no closer than two meters to each other. This spacing ensures a balanced sound distribution and optimal stereo imaging throughout the room. It is also important to consider the size of the room when determining the number and placement of ceiling speakers. For rooms larger than 3 meters x 3 meters, it is generally recommended to use one pair of ceiling speakers. For rooms bigger than 5 meters x 5 meters, two pairs of ceiling speakers will offer a more balanced sound.
