To connect the Samsung HW-J7501 Curved Watt Wireless Audio Soundbar to your TV, you have a few options depending on the available ports on your TV. Here are the steps for each connection method:
1. HDMI Connection:
- Connect one end of an HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT (TV-ARC) port on the soundbar.
- Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) port on your TV.
- Make sure your TV's HDMI-CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) feature is enabled. This allows the soundbar to automatically turn on and off with your TV.
- Set your TV's audio output to "External Speaker" or "Audio System" to ensure the sound is routed to the soundbar.
2. Optical Connection:
- Connect one end of an optical cable to the OPTICAL IN port on the soundbar.
- Connect the other end of the optical cable to the optical audio output port on your TV.
- Set your TV's audio output to "External Speaker" or "Audio System" to ensure the sound is routed to the soundbar.
3. Bluetooth Connection:
- Enable Bluetooth on your TV and the soundbar.
- On the soundbar, press the Bluetooth POWER button to enter pairing mode.
- On your TV, search for Bluetooth devices and select the soundbar from the list.
- Once connected, the sound from your TV will be transmitted to the soundbar wirelessly.
