To connect your Samsung HW-J7500 Soundbar to your TV, you have a few options depending on the available ports on your TV. Here are the steps for each connection method:
1. TV SoundConnect (Bluetooth):
- Make sure your TV supports TV SoundConnect and has Bluetooth capabilities.
- On the Soundbar, press the Bluetooth POWER button to turn on the Bluetooth function.
- On your TV, go to the Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
- Select the Soundbar from the list of available devices to pair and connect it to your TV.
2. HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel):
- Make sure your TV and Soundbar both have HDMI ARC ports.
- Connect an HDMI cable from the HDMI ARC port on your TV to the HDMI OUT (ARC) port on the Soundbar.
- On your TV, go to the settings menu and enable the HDMI ARC function.
- Set the Soundbar to the D.IN mode by pressing the SOURCE button on the remote control or the ( ) button on the Soundbar's top panel.
3. Optical or Analog Audio Cable:
- If your TV has an optical audio output, connect one end of an optical cable to the TV's optical output and the other end to the OPTICAL IN port on the Soundbar.
- If your TV has an analog audio output, connect one end of an analog audio cable (3.5mm or RCA) to the TV's audio output and the other end to the AUDIO IN port on the Soundbar.
- On the Soundbar, press the SOURCE button on the remote control or the ( ) button on the top panel to select the D.IN mode for optical connection or AUX mode for analog connection.
Note: Make sure to adjust the audio settings on your TV to output audio through the selected connection (Bluetooth, HDMI ARC, or optical/analog).
