To connect your Samsung MX-JS5000-ZA Wired Audio Giga Sound System to your TV, you can use either an HDMI cable or an optical cable. Here are the steps to connect using each method:
1. HDMI Connection:
a. Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT (TV-ARC) port on the back of the sound system.
b. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI ARC port on your TV.
c. On your TV, go to the settings menu and select the audio output settings. Set the audio output to "Audio System" or "External Speaker" to route the sound to the sound system.
2. Optical Connection:
a. Connect one end of the optical cable to the OPTICAL OUT port on the back of the TV.
b. Connect the other end of the optical cable to the OPTICAL IN port on the sound system.
c. On your TV, go to the settings menu and select the audio output settings. Set the audio output to "Optical" or "Digital Audio Out" to route the sound to the sound system.
