To connect the Klipsch KS-525-THX Surround Speaker to your amplifier or receiver, follow these steps:
1. Determine the type of connector you will be using. The speaker has two sets of binding posts, one for the tweeter and one for the woofers. You can use bare wire, pins, or spade lugs as connectors.
2. If using bare wire, strip approximately 1/4-inch of insulation from the end of each conductor. Twist the strands of wire on each individual conductor tightly together.
3. Loosen the nuts on a pair of binding posts until the holes through the metal posts are exposed.
4. Insert the bare wire through the holes in the binding posts, making sure that no strands of wire are touching from one binding post to the other or to any strands from the other conductor.
5. xxxx the nuts down finger-tight on the wire.
6. Repeat steps 3-5 for the other set of binding posts.
7. If using pins or spade lugs, follow the same steps but insert the pins or slip the spade lugs around the metal posts before tightening the nuts.
8. Make sure that there is no metal-to-metal contact between the connectors or binding posts to prevent amplifier malfunction or damage.
9. Repeat the above steps for each Klipsch KS-525-THX Surround Speaker you have.
10. Connect the other end of the speaker wires to the corresponding output terminals on your amplifier or receiver, ensuring that the positive and negative terminals are matched correctly.
11. Make sure all connections are secure and tight.
12. Power on your amplifier or receiver and test the sound output from the Klipsch KS-525-THX Surround Speaker.
