To connect the Samsung HW-JM6000 Soundbar to your TV, you have a few options depending on the available ports on your TV. Here are the steps for each connection method:
1. Digital Optical Cable:
- Connect one end of the digital optical cable to the OPTICAL IN (Audio) jack on the Soundbar.
- Connect the other end of the digital optical cable to the OPTICAL OUT jack on your TV.
- Press the (Source) button on the Soundbar or the SOURCE button on the remote control to select the D.IN mode.
2. HDMI Cable:
- Connect an HDMI cable from the HDMI OUT (TV-ARC) jack on the Soundbar to the HDMI IN jack on your TV.
- Press the (Source) button on the Soundbar or the SOURCE button on the remote control to select the D.IN mode.
3. TV SoundConnect (for compatible Samsung TVs):
- Turn on your TV and Soundbar.
- Open the menu on your TV and navigate to the Speaker Settings on the Sound tab.
- Set the "Add New Device" menu to "On".
- Press the (Source) button on the Soundbar or the SOURCE button on the remote control to select the TV mode.
- On your TV, a message asking whether to enable the TV SoundConnect function will appear.
- Select "Yes" using your TV's remote control to finish connecting the TV and Soundbar.
Note: Make sure to follow the specific instructions for your TV model and check if it supports the TV SoundConnect function.
