To install the Memphis MXA60L 6.5" Marine Coaxial Speakers, please follow the steps below:
1. Determine the location: Choose a suitable location on your boat where you want to install the speakers. Ensure that there is enough space and clearance for the speakers to fit properly.
2. Prepare the mounting surface: Clean the mounting surface thoroughly to ensure a secure and stable installation. Remove any dirt, debris, or old adhesive from the surface.
3. Mount the speakers: Use the provided swivel mount to attach the speakers to the mounting surface. Make sure the speakers are securely fastened and aligned properly.
4. Connect the wiring: Connect the speaker wires to the terminals on the back of the speakers. Ensure that the positive and negative terminals are correctly matched with the corresponding wires.
5. Secure the wiring: Use zip ties or adhesive clips to secure the wiring and prevent any loose connections or interference.
6. Install the RGB LED-equipped grills: If desired, install the included RGB LED-equipped grills onto the speakers. Follow the instructions provided in the user guide for proper installation and wiring of the LED grills.
7. Install the mesh grill inserts: If desired, install the included gunmetal or white mesh grill inserts onto the speakers. These inserts provide additional protection for the speakers.
8. Test the speakers: Once the installation is complete, test the speakers to ensure they are functioning properly. Adjust the volume and sound settings as needed.
