To charge the batteries for the SportDOG SD 875 SportTrainer Remote Trainer, follow these steps:
1. Connect one of the charger connectors to the Charging Jack on the Remote Transmitter.
2. Plug the charger into a standard wall outlet.
3. Charge the Remote Transmitter for 2 hours. It is not harmful to let the unit charge more than 2 hours.
4. When charging is complete, as indicated by the full Battery Icon, replace the rubber cover.
To charge the Collar Receiver, follow these steps:
1. Lift the rubber cover protecting the Charging Jack on the Collar Receiver.
2. Connect one of the charger connectors to the Charging Jack.
3. Plug the charger into a standard wall outlet.
4. Charge the Collar Receiver for 2 hours. It is not harmful to let the unit charge more than 2 hours.
5. When charging is complete, as indicated by the Indicator Light blinking green, replace the rubber cover.
Note: The approximate battery life between charges for both the Remote Transmitter and Collar Receiver is 50 to 70 hours, depending on the frequency of use.
