The GPX R055B Portable Radio is powered by batteries and does not require charging. It operates on corded electric power or can be powered by batteries. To use batteries, simply insert them into the battery compartment according to the polarity markings (+/-) indicated inside the compartment. It is recommended to use 2 AAA batteries for optimal performance. Please refer to the user manual for detailed instructions on inserting the batteries.
