To convert cassette tapes to MP3 using the HamiltonBuhl HA968 Portable Tape to MP3 Converter, please follow these steps:
1. Insert two AAA batteries or connect the accompanying AC adapter to provide power to the device.
2. Connect the converter to your computer using the USB cord provided.
3. Plug in the supplied earbuds into the audio output to listen to the content on the cassette tapes.
4. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB slot on the converter.
5. Press the "Play" button on the converter to start playing the cassette tape.
6. Press the "Record" button on the converter to begin the conversion process. The device will automatically convert and record the tape content to MP3 format on the USB flash drive.
7. Once the conversion is complete, you can remove the USB flash drive and use it to transfer the MP3 files to your PC or Mac.
Please note that the converter can only record to MP3 files directly and does not support WAV file recording.
