Installing the Dowco 26038-00 Integrated Motorcycle Cover and Security Alarm System is a simple process. Here are the steps:
1. Start by placing the motorcycle cover over your bike, ensuring it fits properly and covers the entire motorcycle.
2. Locate the internal pocket that is stitched into the cover. This pocket is designed to hold the alarm system.
3. Take the Dowco Guardian Motorcycle Cover Security Alarm System out of the box.
4. Insert the alarm system into any of the sewn-in pockets on the cover. Make sure it is securely placed inside the pocket.
5. Once the alarm system is inserted, connect it to your motorcycle. You can attach it to the forks or wheels of your bike.
6. The alarm system is powered by a 9-Volt battery, which should be included in the box. Install the battery into the alarm system following the instructions in the user manual.
7. The alarm system is now ready to use. It will emit a loud 130dB warning sound if tampered with.
