To connect the CAMDAC108C Digital to Analog Audio Converter, please follow these steps:
1. Verify that your TV has an HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) interface. This converter is designed to work with TVs that have HDMI ARC functionality.
2. Connect one end of the HDMI cable (included in the package) to the HDMI ARC interface on your TV.
3. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI input on the CAMDAC108C Digital to Analog Audio Converter.
4. If you want to connect an audio device with an optical output, use the included 3ft SPDIF cable to connect the optical output of your audio device to the optical input on the CAMDAC108C.
5. If you want to connect an audio device with a coaxial output, use a coaxial cable to connect the coaxial output of your audio device to the coaxial input on the CAMDAC108C.
6. If you want to connect an audio device with a 3.5mm headphone output, use a 3.5mm audio cable to connect the 3.5mm output of your audio device to the 3.5mm headphone connector on the CAMDAC108C.
7. Connect the Micro USB power cable (included in the package) to the Micro USB Power Supply Interface on the CAMDAC108C. Plug the other end of the power cable into a power source.
8. Make sure your TV's audio output is set to PCM or LPCM. Refer to the user manual of your TV for instructions on how to change the audio output format.
9. If you want to control the volume using your TV's remote, activate the TV's CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) feature. This feature only works with the 3.5mm and RCA output connections.
10. Switch on the correct input on the CAMDAC108C to receive audio signals from your connected devices.
