To set up the Singtrix SGTX2 Portable Karaoke Machine, follow these steps:

1. Assemble the stand: Extend the bottom legs on the stand and twist the  xxxx  to lock them in place. Twist the handles on the stand to fully extend both sections and adjust for preferred height. Leave a minimum of 8 inches extended at the top for the device holder. Unscrew the washer from the top of the stand, slide the studio holder onto the stand with the hook pointed upward, and twist the  xxxx  to lock it in place.  xxxx  the washer back onto the top of the stand.  xxxx  the boom arm onto the top of the stand.  xxxx  the mic holder onto the end of the boom arm. Snap the device holder onto the stand.

2. Make connections: Plug the mic into the "LEAD/MIC 1" input. You can use the MIC 2 input for a second mic. Plug the 3.5mm audio cable into the "MUSIC IN" port and the other end into your tablet, smartphone, or other music device. Plug the 3.5mm end of the speaker audio cable into "OUTPUT 1" or "OUTPUT 2" and the opposite end with RCA connectors into the "L/R MUSIC INPUT" on the speaker. Plug the Studio Power Adapter into "DC IN" on the studio and the Speaker Power Adapter into "DC IN" on the speaker.

3. Power up and sound check: Turn on the Studio power switch located on the back. Turn on the speaker and set the volume to 2 o'clock, treble and bass to 3 o'clock. Sing into the mic and check that the volume level is adequate. Adjust the music device volume to 20% and start playing a karaoke song. Adjust the music device volume until your vocals are evenly mixed with the music. Press the "HIT" button on the mic during the chorus of the song to activate live vocal harmonies and other effects.
