To connect your Optoma W490 projector to a computer or other devices, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that both the projector and the device you want to connect are powered off.
2. Locate the appropriate video output port on your device. The Optoma W490 projector supports various video input connections, including HDMI, VGA, and composite video.
3. Connect one end of the appropriate video cable (HDMI, VGA, or composite) to the corresponding video output port on your device.
4. Connect the other end of the video cable to the corresponding video input port on the projector. The video input ports are located on the back panel of the projector.
5. If you are using an HDMI connection, make sure to also connect the audio cable from your device to the audio input port on the projector, if desired.
6. Power on both the projector and the device you want to connect.
7. Use the projector's remote control or the control panel buttons to select the appropriate input source. Press the "Input" or "Source" button on the remote control or the control panel to cycle through the available input sources until you see the image from your connected device.
