To connect your VIZIO SS2521-C6 Channel Sound Stand to your TV, follow these steps:
1. Make sure your TV has an audio output port. The most common audio output ports are optical (Toslink) and analog stereo (3.5mm or RCA).
2. Locate the corresponding audio input ports on the back of your Sound Stand. The Sound Stand has one optical input, one analog stereo input, and one USB input.
3. If your TV has an optical audio output, use an optical cable (Toslink) to connect the optical output port on your TV to the optical input port on the Sound Stand. Make sure to align the connectors properly and tighten the screws on both ends of the cable.
4. If your TV has an analog stereo output, use a 3.5mm stereo audio cable or an RCA stereo audio cable to connect the analog output port on your TV to the analog input port on the Sound Stand. For a 3.5mm stereo audio cable, simply plug one end into the headphone jack on your TV and the other end into the 3.5mm input port on the Sound Stand. For an RCA stereo audio cable, connect the red and white connectors to the corresponding red and white input ports on the Sound Stand.
5. Once the connections are made, power on your TV and Sound Stand. Use the remote control that came with the Sound Stand to select the appropriate input source. If you connected your TV to the optical input, select "OPT" on the Sound Stand. If you connected your TV to the analog input, select "AUX" on the Sound Stand.
6. Adjust the volume on the Sound Stand using the volume buttons on the remote control. You can also control the volume using the volume buttons on your TV remote, as long as the audio output is set to the Sound Stand.
