To connect the Cerwin-Vega Cvhf-A18S subwoofer to your audio system, you can use either the XLR or RCA inputs. Here are the steps:
1. Locate the L and R inputs on the subwoofer. These inputs accept the line-level signal from your audio source.
2. If your audio source has XLR outputs, use XLR cables to connect the L and R outputs of your audio source to the L and R inputs on the subwoofer. Make sure to match the left and right channels correctly.
3. If your audio source has RCA outputs, use RCA cables to connect the L and R outputs of your audio source to the L and R inputs on the subwoofer. Again, ensure that the left and right channels are connected correctly.
4. If you want to connect additional subwoofers, you can use the Link Out connector on the subwoofer. This connector provides a summed signal of the L and R inputs, which can be sent to a subwoofer in slave mode.
5. Once the connections are made, you can adjust the volume of the subwoofer using the Level control on the subwoofer. You can also adjust the low-pass filter and polarity settings to optimize the bass response.
