To connect the VIZIO SB4051-C0 sound bar to your TV, you have a few options. One common method is to use the HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC) feature if your TV supports it. Here are the steps:
1. Connect one end of an HDMI cable to the HDMI 1 (ARC) port on the back of your TV.
2. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT (ARC) port on the VIZIO sound bar.
3. On your TV, go to the AUDIO menu and change the Digital Audio Setting to Dolby Digital or Bitstream.
4. From the SYSTEM menu, enable CEC and ARC (SAC) functions.
5. From the CEC menu, select Device Discovery to register the sound bar with the TV.
Once you've completed these steps, the sound from your TV should be automatically routed to the sound bar. You can control the volume using either the TV remote or the sound bar remote.
If your TV does not have an ARC-enabled HDMI port, you can also connect the sound bar using other audio cables such as optical, RCA, or digital coaxial. Please refer to the user manual for detailed instructions on these alternative connection methods.
