To wire the Coleman 7330F3852 thermostat, follow these steps:
1. Disconnect all electrical power from the air conditioner, ceiling assembly, and power supply before starting the wiring procedure.
2. Strip the ends of the 12-volt supply wires approximately 3/8 of an inch.
3. Use the Wire Cross Reference Chart provided in the manual to determine the appropriate conductor for each wire protruding from the back of the thermostat.
4. Connect the corresponding wires from the ceiling assembly to the appropriate wires on the thermostat, ensuring that positive and negative wires are correctly identified.
5. If you are operating a furnace system from the thermostat, strip and attach the furnace system wires as well.
6. Gently push the excess thermostat wiring back into the wall opening and fill the opening with non-combustible insulation to prevent contact with screws or sharp edges.
7. Snap the thermostat body onto the base.
8. Turn the thermostat system switch to the "OFF" position.
9. Once the entire system, including the ceiling assembly and rooftop air conditioner, is properly installed, restore electrical power to the thermostat.
