To change the temperature display from Fahrenheit to Celsius on the Orbit 83501 Clear Comfort Non-Programmable Thermostat, follow these steps:
1. Slide the Mode Switch to the Off position.
2. While holding the Reset Button (on the back of the thermostat body), press the Up Arrow Button to toggle between °F or °C.
3. Release the Reset Button. (Do not hold the Reset Button for more than five seconds.)
The temperature display will now show the selected unit of measurement (either °F or °C).
