To connect your Ecobee Smart Thermostat Enhanced to Alexa, follow these steps:
1. Open the Alexa app on your smartphone or tablet.
2. Tap on the "Devices" tab at the bottom of the screen.
3. Tap on the "+" icon in the top right corner to add a new device.
4. Select "Thermostat" from the list of device types.
5. Choose "Ecobee" from the list of thermostat brands.
6. Follow the on-screen instructions to sign in to your Ecobee account or create a new one if you don't have an account yet.
7. Once you're signed in, the Alexa app will search for your Ecobee Smart Thermostat Enhanced.
8. When your thermostat is found, tap on it to select it.
9. Follow the prompts to complete the setup process and link your Ecobee thermostat to Alexa.
10. Once the setup is complete, you can use Alexa voice commands to control your thermostat. For example, you can say "Alexa, set the temperature to 72 degrees" or "Alexa, increase the temperature by 2 degrees."
Please note that you may need to enable the Ecobee skill in the Alexa app before you can connect your thermostat. This can be done by going to the "Skills & Games" section in the app and searching for "Ecobee." Once you find the Ecobee skill, select it and enable it.
