To achieve optimal performance from the Definitive Technology SR-8080BP Bipolar Surround Speakers, it is recommended to position them on either side of your listening area. The left and right surround speakers should be placed two feet or higher above the listener. This placement helps to maximize the ambiance and create an immersive surround sound experience.
Additionally, it is important to ensure that the speakers are directed towards the listener. This means that the front drivers of the speakers should be pointed at the listening area. By directing the sound towards the listener, you can enhance the clarity and imaging of the audio.
