Setting up the Cyseed BLK-300mbps Wi-Fi Range Extender is quick and easy. Here are the step-by-step instructions:
1. Find a suitable location: Place the range extender halfway between your wireless router and the area where you need better Wi-Fi coverage. Make sure it is within the range of your router's wireless signal.
2. Power on the range extender: Plug the range extender into a power outlet near your router.
3. Connect to the range extender: On your device (smartphone, laptop, etc.), go to the Wi-Fi settings and connect to the network named "Cyseed_EXT."
4. Open a web browser: Launch a web browser on your device and enter "http://ap.setup" in the address bar. Press Enter.
5. Log in to the range extender: You will be prompted to enter a username and password. The default username is "admin" and the default password is "admin" as well. Enter these credentials and click Login.
6. Configure the range extender: Follow the on-screen instructions to set up the range extender. You will be asked to select your preferred language, set a new password, and choose your Wi-Fi network to extend.
7. Connect to the extended network: Once the setup is complete, the range extender will restart. After it restarts, go back to your device's Wi-Fi settings and connect to the extended network with the same name as your original Wi-Fi network, but with "_EXT" added at the end.
