To set up the Cyseed 300Mbps WiFi Extender Signal Booster, follow these steps:
1. Find a suitable location: Place the WiFi extender halfway between your wireless router and the area where you need better WiFi coverage. Make sure it is within the range of your existing WiFi network.
2. Power on the extender: Plug the WiFi extender into a power outlet near your router.
3. Connect to the extender: On your device (computer, smartphone, etc.), go to the WiFi settings and connect to the network named "Cyseed_Extender".
4. Open a web browser: Launch a web browser and enter "http://ap.setup" or "http://192.168.10.1" in the address bar. Press Enter.
5. Log in to the extender: Enter the default username and password (usually "admin" for both) to log in to the extender's web interface.
6. Configure the extender: Follow the on-screen instructions to set up the extender. You may need to select your existing WiFi network and enter the password. You can also change the network name (SSID) and password for the extender if desired.
7. Apply the settings: Once you have finished configuring the extender, click on the "Apply" or "Save" button to save the settings.
8. Test the connection: After the extender restarts, try connecting to the extended WiFi network using your device. Check if the WiFi signal is stronger and covers the desired area.
Note: If you have a WPS-enabled router, you can also use the WPS button on the extender and router to quickly set up the connection without entering any passwords.
