1. Make sure your Linksys RE9000 is on factory defaults. To reset the extender, press the Reset button for 5 seconds.

4. Once connected, open a browser and go to http://extender.linksys.com to launch the setup page. If the extender has not detected a DHCP server, it defaults to its IP address, which is 192.168.1.1.
