To pair the Nyko 83202 Type Pad Rechargeable Battery Keyboard with your Xbox One controller, follow these steps:
1. Power on your Xbox One controller and console.
2. Align the plugs on the Type Pad with the controller and gently press it into place.
3. Press and release the SYNC button on the Type Pad to initiate pairing. The LED indicator will blink rapidly to indicate sync discovery mode.
4. Insert the Wireless Adaptor into an available USB port on the side or back of the console.
5. Once properly paired, the LED indicator on the Type Pad will glow solid blue for 2-3 seconds to indicate a successful connection before turning off.
6. Test the mini directional pad and buttons on the Type Pad to confirm proper operation. Repeat the pairing procedure if necessary to establish sync.
7. Once properly installed, you can connect a headset (compatible with your controller) by directly connecting it to the appropriate port on the Type Pad.
