To connect the Sescom SES-AUD-N-HDMI4K Audio Inserter, follow these steps:
1. Identify the audio source with an HDMI output and the display with an HDMI input.
2. Connect one end of an HDMI cable to the HDMI output of your audio source.
3. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI input of the Sescom SES-AUD-N-HDMI4K Audio Inserter.
4. If you want to replace the audio from the HDMI source with stereo analog audio, connect a stereo analog audio source (such as a DVD player or MP3 player) to the L/R In port on the right side panel of the Audio Inserter using a 3.5mm mini-jack cable.
5. If you want to replace the audio from the HDMI source with multichannel digital audio, connect a digital audio source (such as a Blu-ray player or game console) to the Optical In port on the right side panel of the Audio Inserter using an optical (TOSLINK) cable.
6. Connect one end of another HDMI cable to the HDMI Out port on the left side panel of the Audio Inserter.
7. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI input of your display.
8. Ensure that the input switch on the rear panel of the Audio Inserter is set to the desired audio input (HDMI, Optical, or L/R).
9. Power on the Audio Inserter by pressing the Power button on the rear panel.
10. Verify that the Bypass, Link, and Power indicators on the top panel of the Audio Inserter are lit, indicating that the unit is functioning properly.
11. Enjoy your audio with the desired input source on your display.
