To connect the NETGEAR (EAX20) WiFi 6 Mesh Range Extender to your existing WiFi network, you have several options:
1. Connect with the Nighthawk app:
- Download the Nighthawk app on your mobile phone from Google Play or the Apple App Store.
- Connect your mobile phone to the extender's WiFi network called NETGEAR_EXT.
- Open the Nighthawk app and follow the step-by-step instructions to set up your extender.
2. Connect with WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup):
- If your router supports WPS, press the WPS button on the extender and then press the WPS button on your router within 2 minutes to establish a connection.
3. Connect with the web browser setup:
- Use the extender's web browser setup, called the NETGEAR installation assistant.
- Connect your computer or mobile device to the extender's WiFi network called NETGEAR_EXT.
- Open a web browser and enter "http://www.mywifiext.net" in the address bar.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup process.
Note: If your router's WiFi security is set to WPA enterprise, WPA2 enterprise, or WEP, the extender may not be able to connect. In such cases, you will need to change your router's WiFi security setting.
