Yes, you can set up the TP-Link RE700X WiFi 6 Range Extender without using the WPS button. Here is an alternative method:
1. Connect your computer to the range extender using an Ethernet cable. Plug one end of the Ethernet cable into the LAN port of the range extender and the other end into your computer's Ethernet port.
2. Open a web browser on your computer and enter "http://tplinkrepeater.net" or "http://192.168.0.254" in the address bar. Press Enter.
3. You will be prompted to enter the default username and password. The default username is "admin" and the default password is also "admin". Enter these credentials and click Login.
4. Once logged in, you will be directed to the Quick Setup page. Follow the on-screen instructions to configure the range extender.
5. Select your region and click Next.
6. The range extender will scan for nearby wireless networks. Select your wireless network from the list and click Next.
7. Enter your wireless network's password and click Next.
8. On the next page, you can choose to use the same wireless network name (SSID) and password for the range extender or set up a different one. Make your selection and click Next.
9. Review the settings on the Summary page and click Finish to complete the setup process.
10. Once the setup is complete, you can disconnect the Ethernet cable from your computer and the range extender.
