To set up the NETFUN 300 Mbps Upgraded WiFi Extender Signal Booster, follow these steps:
1. Place the extender: Find a location for the extender that is within the range of your existing Wi-Fi router. It should be placed halfway between the router and the area where you need better Wi-Fi coverage.
2. Power on the extender: Plug the extender into a power outlet and wait for it to power on. The power LED should light up.
3. Connect to the extender: On your PC or mobile device, go to the Wi-Fi settings and connect to the Wi-Fi network of the extender. The network name (SSID) and password can be found on the extender or in the user manual.
4. Open a browser: Open a web browser on your device and type "192.168" or "mywifiext.net" in the address bar. Press Enter.
5. Set up the extender: You will be directed to the extender's setup page. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup process. You may need to choose the admin credentials, set security questions, and respond to them.
6. Connect devices: Once the extender setup is complete, you can connect your devices to the extender's Wi-Fi network. Your devices can be wired or wirelessly connected to the extender using Ethernet cables.
Note: If your router has a WPS button, you can also use the WPS method to connect the extender to your router. Simply press the WPS button on your router and then press the WPS button on the extender.
