To set up the EJVV 300mbps WiFi Extender, follow these steps:
1. Plug the extender into an electrical outlet next to your host router and wait for 30 seconds. The WiFi light will turn green, indicating that it is ready for setup.
2. Connect your mobile device or PC to the extender's SSID. The SSID can be found on the back of the product.
3. Open a web browser and enter the URL 192.168.188.1. This will take you to the extender's setup page.
4. The default login password is "admin". Enter this password to access the setup page.
5. Scan and select your host router from the list. If you cannot find the host router SSID, continue scanning or check if the host router SSID is available.
6. Enter the password of your host router and make sure it is correct.
7. Set your extender's new SSID and password. You can either customize a new SSID for the extended networks or keep the default SSID password.
8. Check and remember the new SSID and password.
9. Wait for about 60 seconds. If the setup is successful, the "Extender" light will light up.
10. Go back to the WLAN settings on your mobile device or PC.
11. Connect your device to the new SSID you just set up. The default new SSID is the original WiFi name plus "-pro".
