To connect the JBL 570 Floorstanding Loudspeakers to your amplifier, follow these steps:
1. Make sure that all electrical components are turned off and unplugged from their AC outlets before making any connections.
2. Identify the positive and negative connectors on both the speakers and the amplifier. The connectors on the JBL 570 speakers are marked with "+" and "-" symbols, and the positive connectors have red markings while the negative connectors have black markings.
3. Connect the positive connector on the back of the amplifier to the respective positive connector (marked with red) on each speaker. Similarly, connect the negative connector on the amplifier to the respective negative connector (marked with black) on each speaker. Make sure to maintain proper polarity and do not reverse the connections.
4. Use the appropriate wire connector type for your setup. The JBL 570 speakers' gold-plated connectors can accept bare wire, pin connectors, spade connectors, and banana connectors.
- For bare wire or pin connectors, strip the wire and insert it into the corresponding connectors on both the speakers and the amplifier.
- For spade connectors, insert the spade connectors into the corresponding connectors on both the speakers and the amplifier.
- For banana connectors, insert the banana plugs into the corresponding connectors on both the speakers and the amplifier.
5. Repeat the above steps for all the speakers in your setup.
6. Ensure that the "+" and "-" wires or connectors do not touch each other or the other terminal to avoid short circuits.
7. Once all the connections are made, you can turn on your amplifier and enjoy the sound from your JBL 570 Floorstanding Loudspeakers.
Please refer to the user manual for more detailed instructions and illustrations on connecting the speakers to your amplifier.
