To mount the Cobra Road Scout Dash Cam and Radar Detector in your vehicle, follow these steps:
1. Remove the backing from the EZ Mag Mount included with the device.
2. Firmly press the EZ Mag Mount onto the windshield in the center, between the driver and passenger.
3. Flip the locking clamp on the EZ Mag Mount to secure it in place.
4. Tilt the display end of the Road Scout slightly upward and engage it with the mounting bracket on the EZ Mag Mount.
5. The EZ Mag Mount's magnet will hold the device firmly in place.
6. To adjust the view, loosen the thumb wheel on the mounting bracket and adjust the angle. Tighten the thumb wheel to secure the position.
7. To remove the Road Scout from the mount, simply lift the display end of the detector upward. The device will release from the mount.
Note: When mounting the Road Scout, make sure to choose a location on the windshield that provides a clear view of the road ahead and the sky above. Avoid mounting it in areas with heavy tinting or where it may obstruct the windshield wipers.
