To connect the Wansview Q6-W camera to Wi-Fi, follow these steps:
1. Make sure your router is connected to the internet.
2. Download the Wansview Cloud app from the App Store or Google Play.
3. Open the app and sign up for an account using your email address and password. Make sure your password is 8-16 characters long and includes at least 3 categories of the following: digits, uppercase characters, lowercase characters, and special characters.
4. Read and agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
5. Check your email for a verification code and enter it in the app to complete the sign-up process. If you don't receive the email, check your spam folder or tap "Re-send mail." You can also contact Wansview support at service@wansview.com.
6. Sign in to the app using your email address and password.
7. Place the camera near your router within 3 feet and power it on.
8. Make sure your phone is connected to the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
9. Tap "Add Device" in the app and choose the camera model (Q5 or Q6).
10. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the camera to Wi-Fi. This may involve tapping "Flashing" if the camera's indicator lights are flashing red and blue, entering the correct Wi-Fi password, and scanning the QR code on your phone screen with the camera.
11. Once the connection is successful, the camera's indicator light will turn solid blue. You can then rename the camera and start using it.
Please note that the Wansview Q6-W camera only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and not 5GHz Wi-Fi.
