To connect the Wansview Q5-B Wireless Security Camera to Wi-Fi, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure your router is connected to the internet.
2. Download the Wansview Cloud app from the App Store or Google Play.
3. Open the Wansview Cloud app and sign up for an account using your email address and password. Make sure your password is 8-16 characters long and includes at least 3 categories of the following: digits, uppercase characters, lowercase characters, and special characters. Read and agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
4. Check your email for a verification code and enter it in the app to complete the sign-up process. If you don't receive the email, check your spam folder or contact Wansview support.
5. Sign in to the app using your email address and password.
6. Place the camera near your router within 3 feet and power it on using the attached power cord.
7. Make sure your phone is connected to the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
8. Tap "Add Device" in the app and choose the camera model Q5-B.
9. If the camera's indicator lights are flashing red and blue, tap "Flashing" in the app.
10. The app will display the Wi-Fi name automatically. Enter the correct Wi-Fi password and tap "Next". If the Wi-Fi name is not displayed, go to your phone's settings, find the Wansview Cloud app, and allow it to access your location information.
11. Adjust your screen brightness to medium and place the camera lens about 3-8 inches in front of your phone. Use the camera to scan the QR code on the phone screen. When you hear "QR code scanning is successful", tap "Next".
12. Check the indicator light status. If the connection is successful, the blue light will be solid. You can now rename the camera and start using it.
Note: The Wansview Q5-B Wireless Security Camera only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi.
