Wiring the Rockford Fosgate M2-TS Marine Tweeter Kit Speaker is a straightforward process. Here are the steps to follow:
1. Determine the wiring option you want to use. The manual provides two options: using the included spade connectors or utilizing the DEUTSCH™/Amphenol connector (not included) next to the COLOR OPTIX™ connector.
2. If you choose to use the spade connectors, connect the speaker wires to the speaker terminals. The positive speaker input is indicated by the red wire, and the negative speaker input is indicated by the black wire.
3. If you prefer to use the DEUTSCH™/Amphenol connector, refer to the COLOR OPTIX™ Pin Out diagram in the manual. Connect the wires according to the pin-out configuration: red wire (ground input), yellow wire (12V + input), blue wire (ground input), and green wire (ground input).
4. Ensure that you observe proper polarity when connecting the wires. The positive terminal is indicated with a "+" symbol.
5. Once the wiring is complete, you can proceed with mounting the speakers according to the instructions provided in the manual.
