To connect the JBL Control 2P Compact Powered Monitor to your audio source, follow these steps:
1. Identify the input connectors on the rear panel of the Control 2P Master Loudspeaker. You have the following options:
- Balanced XLR/1/4" Neutrik Combo inputs: These are professional-grade connectors that accept either XLR or 1/4" TRS cables.
- Unbalanced RCA inputs: These are standard RCA jacks commonly found on consumer audio devices.
2. Choose the appropriate cables based on your audio source and the available connectors. For example:
- If your audio source has XLR outputs, use XLR cables to connect to the XLR/1/4" Combo inputs.
- If your audio source has RCA outputs, use RCA cables to connect to the RCA inputs.
3. Plug one end of the cables into the corresponding output jacks on your audio source.
4. Plug the other end of the cables into the input jacks on the Control 2P Master Loudspeaker. Make sure to match the correct left (L) and right (R) channels.
5. Once the connections are made, set the POWER SWITCH on the rear panel of the Control 2P Master Loudspeaker to the ON position.
6. Adjust the volume control on the side of the Control 2P Master Loudspeaker to achieve a suitable listening level.
Note: It is important not to simultaneously connect sources to both the RCA inputs and the XLR/1/4" inputs, as this may compromise performance.
