To pair the BlueParrott S450-XT headset with your Bluetooth device, follow these steps:
1. Make sure that Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
2. Power on the S450-XT headset by sliding the switch up toward the headband. The LED will flash blue three times and you will hear a voice prompt, "Power on."
3. If the S450-XT is not already paired with a device, it will automatically go into pairing mode. If it has been paired with another device, you will need to put it into pairing mode manually.
4. To manually put the S450-XT into pairing mode, power on the headset and then press and hold the Multi-Function Button (MFB) for approximately 6 seconds until you hear the audio prompt "discovering." The headset LED will be flashing alternating red and blue.
5. On your smartphone, go to the Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
6. Select "VXi S450-XT" from the list of available devices. If prompted for a passcode, enter "0000".
7. Once connected, the headset will give you the voice prompt, "Your headset is connected," and the indicator light will flash blue.
Note: NFC pairing is also available if your smartphone supports it. Refer to the manual for instructions on NFC pairing.
