To program S.A.M.E. County Codes into the Midland WR-300 weather radio, follow these steps:
1. Press the "MENU" button to open the menu options.
2. Use the "UP" arrow to scroll through the menu options until "County Code" is displayed.
3. Press the "SELECT" button and then the "UP" arrow to scroll through "SINGLE", "MULTIPLE", or "ALL".
4. If you want to program a single S.A.M.E. County Code, display "SINGLE" and press the "SELECT" button.
5. "Code 01" will be displayed. Press the "SELECT" button to program this code. The first digit space will start blinking.
6. Use the "UP" arrow to scroll through the digits 0-9. Input the first digit and then press the "RIGHT" arrow to save that selection and move to the next digit.
7. Continue programming all 6 digits in this way. When finished, press the "SELECT" button and your entered code will be saved.
8. If you want to program multiple S.A.M.E. County Codes, display "MULTIPLE" and press the "SELECT" button.
9. Use the "UP" arrow to scroll through code locations 1-23. You can program up to 23 different county codes into your WR-300 weather radio.
10. Display the location you want and then press the "SELECT" button. The first digit space will start blinking.
11. Use the "UP" arrow to scroll through the digits 0-9. Input the first digit and then press the "RIGHT" arrow to save that selection and move to the next digit.
12. Continue programming all 6 digits in this way. When finished, press the "SELECT" button and your entered code will be saved.
13. To program your next code, press the "UP" arrow to go to the next code location.
14. When you have entered all your desired codes, press the "MENU" button to store your settings.
