To set up the iGPSPORT iGS620 GPS Cycling Bike Computer for the first time, follow these steps:
1. Language, Gender, Age, Weight, Height, and Time Zone Setting:
- When using the iGS620 for the first time, you can set the language, gender, age, weight, height, and time zone.
- Use the buttons on the device to navigate through the settings and select the appropriate values.
- Press the middle button to confirm and save the settings.
2. WIFI Setup:
- In the device management interface, click on WIFI and enable the WIFI function.
- The device will automatically search for available WIFI networks nearby.
- Select the desired WIFI network and enter the password to complete the connection.
- If you want to connect to a hidden WIFI network, click on "other" and enter the WIFI name and password.
- Once connected, the device will automatically connect to the configured WIFI network when in range.
- Enable the WIFI automatic data upload switch to automatically upload cycling data when connected to WIFI.
3. Customizing Data Screens:
- The iGS620 allows you to customize the data display pages.
- Choose the desired mode (Race Mode, Training Mode, or Indoor Mode) by selecting MODE.
- Select the middle button to enter the setting and select the middle button again to save the setting.
- Set the data fields by selecting the middle button to enter, the right button to shift between columns, and the middle button to confirm the setting.
- Set up the data items within each column by selecting the right button to move into the selected column and configuring the data items.
4. Map Download:
- Enter the device management interface and open WIFI.
- Return and click on the "add" button to select the country in the region and download the map.
- Alternatively, you can download the map file from the iGPSPORT website and copy it into the "iGPSPORT/Navigation" folder on the device using a computer.
- After GPS is fixed, open the valid map file, and the map will be displayed under waypoints at different distances.
- Note that the device supports loading only one map at a time, so delete the old map file before uploading a new one.
